CLG Conducts Regional Forum on Public Administration and Governance

The Ateneo de Naga University - Center for Local Governance (AdNU-CLG) in coordination with the Department of the Interior and Local Government – Region V conducted the Regional Forum on Strengthening Public Administration and Good Governance in the Local Arena at the Arrupe Convention Hall, Ateneo de Naga University last August 20, 2010. The activity aims to present basic concepts and discuss initiatives and advocacies in promoting good governance towards the holistic transformation of communities in Bikol along authentic economic, political and socio-cultural dimensions of development.

It`s that time of the year again where students from various Jesuit colleges and universities in Asia Pacific get together to celebrate cultural diversity, spirituality, and socio-environmental immersion. This year, Sophia University of Japan hosted the Service Learning Program in Siem Reap Cambodia last 8-21 August 2010 under the theme:  Preserving Culture, A Way for Preserving Identity.

In its annual convention held last August 18-21, 2010 at Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP) awarded to Dr. Leonor Lynette F. C. Mendoza the 2010 Fr. Jaime C. Bulatao, S.J. Award for Teaching in Psychology.  Dr. Mendoza was judged to be a teacher who embodies the ideals of Fr. Bulatao who is fondly called Fr. Bu.
