CIRCULATION SECTION

On the 3rd floor is the Circulation Section where fiction and non-fiction books are located. Books in this section can be brought outside the library premises for home or classroom use. This section has over 70,000 volumes. The books in this section are arranged by call number. You will notice that the shelves are coded alphabetically. This means that the books on the shelves are arranged, as earlier explained, according to the Library of Congress classification system with each book and assigned a call number. For example, history books are found on the shelves coded C, D, E, and F. Literature books are found on the shelves coded P.

For your convenience, we have a classification guide posted to help you locate which bookshelf is assigned to a particular subject. You may also request for assistance from the personnel on duty at the Circulation Counter.
