It is a service that provides access to the Philippine published research, is a database of journals published in the Philippines, covering the full range of academic disciplines. This provides information on each participating journal, including aims and scope, contact details and general information. It also provides Table of contents and abstracts (where available) for all articles published within these journals. Many full texts articles are also available. All the material on PhilJOL is free to view, search and browse, however copyright of all content is retained by the journals or authors –each journals will need to give permission for any use or re-use of the content that falls outside fair use. It is not a publisher but it provides hosting of the contents online, and actively promoting the website to encourage discovery of these titles and their articles. These are 26 journals listed on PhilJOL. There are 69 Table of Contents listing 601 articles. 453 of the articles are available in full text (PDF).
