GENERAL POLICIES
1. Scan and always pin your school ID as you enter the library and keep it pinned while inside the library premises.
2. Always leave your personal belongings at the Bags' Depository Area except your valuables. The library is not responsible for any loss or damage to your property.
3. Always present your validated school ID when borrowing books or availing of other services of the Library.
4. Always present to the Security Guard on duty any library property you wish to bring outside the library for inspection.
BORROWING OF BOOKS AND MATERIALS
1. A borrower is held responsible for all materials borrowed.
2. Books and other materials at the Reference, Periodicals, Filipiniana, Bikoliana, Reserve, Theses and Dissertations Sections are for room use only.
3. However, books with duplicate copies at the Filipiniana and Reserve Sections may be borrowed for overnight use and must be returned at 8:00 am the following day.
4. Photocopying of Theses/Dissertations is strictly prohibited.
5. Charges for failing to return borrowed materials on due dates are as follows:
Filipiniana and Reserve Books P5/hour
Circulation Books P2 /day
6. Books at the general circulation section may be borrowed for 1 week.
7. However three books may be borrowed at a time and maybe renewed once, if not demanded by others.
8. Before taking out library materials, present them to their respective query desks for proper charging and discharging procedures. Demand for a receipt to be presented to the security guard on duty as you leave the library.
9. Lost/damaged books, periodicals and other reading materials should be reported immediately to library authorities to avoid continuous charging of fines.
10.Basis for computing charges for lost/damaged books are: current price, mailing or handling expenses/processing fee, chargeable against student's account.
11. Non-compliance with library rules and regulations shall be subject to penalties prescribed in the Student Handbook.
CONDUCT INSIDE THE LIBRARY PREMISES
1. Loud and non-academic discussion is not allowed. Silence must be observed at all times.
2. Smoking, eating and napping are strictly prohibited.
3.Vandalism/destruction of library properties such as books, computer programs, chairs, and tables will be penalized, accordingly.
4. Use of cell phones and other similar devices are discouraged.
5. Disrespectful language and/or gestures against any library personnel and staff will be recommended for disciplinary measures.
6. For Internet users, playing games, chatting, and accessing to non-academic websites are not allowed.
